Actor Vikram Gokhale passed away today in his 80s. and was admitted to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune.
According to sources, he was undergoing treatment there after being admitted a few days ago. The hospital authorities said yesterday that his physical condition is gradually improving. However, his health began to deteriorate further and he returned to BP support and medication.
Vikram Gokhale was known for his outstanding work in Marathi theater and Hindi films and television shows. He played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He was also a part of Parwana, Agneepath (1990), Bhul Vilaiya, Mission Mangal, Tum Bin, De Dana Daan and many more. He also won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the Marathi film Anumati.
