Vicky’s life got a big boost after bathing in the Kumbh Mela, ‘Chhaava’ crosses Rs 500 crore milestone

‘Chhaava’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna was released in theatres on February 14. Since its inception, the film has been ruling the box office and within 13 days, it has become one of the biggest hits of 2025 so far. After debuting as Vicky Kaushal’s highest grosser and first superhit of the year, Chhaava has now crossed the 500 crore mark at the box office worldwide. On its second Wednesday of release, the film earned Rs 21.75 crore, taking its net collection in India to Rs 385 crore. The film’s total Indian collection is Rs 434.75 crore. According to a report by SackNilk, Chhaava’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 509.75 crore after 12 days. The Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna film has earned Rs 75 crore overseas.

Chhaava is Rashmika’s third highest-grossing film after ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule and Animal’. On Tuesday, Chhaava’s collection declined, but Wednesday being Mahashivratri, the film’s collection as well as occupancy increased once again. On Wednesday, Chhaava’s overall occupancy was 34.43 percent. Even after 13 days, ‘Chhaava’ is running in a total of 6,437 shows across India. Pune had the highest occupancy of 58.75 percent with 717 shows. In Mumbai, Chhaava had an occupancy of 50.50 percent with 1,410 shows, while Hyderabad overtook Chennai in terms of occupancy on Wednesday. In Hyderabad, it had an occupancy of 33 percent with 351 shows, while in Chennai, it had an occupancy of 26.33 percent with 43 shows. In Delhi-NCR, the film had an occupancy of 25.75 percent with 1,264 shows.
