Delhi, On a trip down memory lane, actress Vidya Balan recalls working on her first movie, “Parineeta,” which will be re-released in theaters on August 29. The film, which was directed by the late Pradeep Sarkar, came out on June 10, 2005. It was created by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starred Balan, Saif Ali Khan, and Sanjay Dutt. It was based on the well-known Bengali novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay from 1914. During the film’s production, Balan remembers meeting Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore and Khan’s mother.

This led to a huge misunderstanding between the two lovers.
