Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has left many devastated. The actor allegedly committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 (2020). It has been around four days since the news of the young actor’s unfortunate passing away surfaced, and many are still unable to fathom why did he take the drastic step.
Social media is filled with condolence messages to mourn the ‘rising star’s’ sudden death, and it has also reignited discussions over mental health and nepotism. Sushant’s fans, colleagues, and friends are expressing their grief and pain. His loved ones are paying heartfelt tribute to him and praying he is in ‘peace’ wherever he is.
Vikas Gupta, who was quite close to Sushant Singh Rajput and knew him since his Pavitra Rishta days, has penned a long note, sharing unknown tidbits about the actor and his relationship with former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande.
Sharing an old photo of the Balaji gang, Vikas called Sushant a carefree boy who did not hesitate to leave ‘Pavitra Rishta’ when it was the most watched show on television or even say no to a big banner film. He credited Ankita Lokhande, his female lead in the daily soap, for her support which made Sushant least worried about things in his life.
Vikas revealed, “This was the time when I saw him the carefree fun happy lad sushu was . He didn’t worry about anything. He could leave the number 1 show on Indian television and we could for weeks do nothing and make plans in chai coffee and discuss learning film making plans – I remember him saying No to #Aurangzeb because He was offered the other brothers role and i remember he said how will I say no to Yash Raj but he was able to cause that mad girl in the middle of the picture would say you do what makes you happy we will do when you are sure about things and he would grin like in this picture.”
