Sushant Singh Rajput case: Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Ankita Lokhande and other Bollywood celebs come out in support of CBI probe
It’s been two months today since Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode. The ‘Chhichhore’ actor passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Since then, his family and fans have been demanding for a CBI inquiry into his death case.
Yesterday, Sushant’s US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti made a video appeal to all the fans for a CBI inquiry for her brother. Sharing her video on Instagram, she wrote, “We stand together as a nation for CBI Enquiry! Demanding an unbiased investigation is our right and we expect nothing but the truth to come out. 🙏 #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah”
In the clip, Shweta said with folded hands, “I am Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti and I request everyone to stand together and demand a CBI enquiry for Sushant. We deserve to know the truth. We deserve justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. Otherwise, we will never find closure, we won’t be able to live a peaceful life.”
Post her video, a lot of Bollywood celebs have come out in support and have taken to social media to call out for a CBI inquiry. Sushant’s co-star Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram story and wrote, “I Pray that the truth comes out SOON..His family, his friends, fans and all loved ones deserve this closure.. I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so that it’s investigating without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace! #CBIForSSR #SushantSinghRajput”
