Singer Prakriti Kakar married businessman Vinay Anand in a small ceremony at Fort Barwara, which is close to Jaipur, Rajasthan. The couple, who had a small wedding, threw a reception party in Delhi to celebrate with their loved ones. The newlyweds are now prepared to celebrate their new phase of life with their Mumbai industry buddies. “Yes, we’re having a reception to celebrate our wedding with our friends and family in Mumbai today,” she responds “when questioned about the same. It takes place at St. Regis. We’re wrapping up the wedding celebrations on a positive note with today’s party, even if the wedding was a private affair.”
The singer is prepared to be an original red bride, even if she choose to be a pink bride for her nuptials. “I’m planning to wear a crimson Indo-Western outfit tonight. Prakriti adds, “I didn’t want to be a red bride during the ceremony, but during the reception, it just seems right; bright, joyous, and very “wifey.” The singer responds, “Oh, it’s a long guest list,” when asked who to expect at the wedding. Everyone who has shared in our journey has been invited.
