Yami Gautam collaborates with NGOs to help victims of rape

Actress Yami Gautam has joined palms with two NGOs — Majlis and Pari (People Against Rape in India) — to aid victims of sexual assault and to work for their rehabilitation.

“Today with amazing pleasure I would like to share that I have joined arms with two NGOs who are constantly assisting and working closer to the rehabilitation of victims of sexual assault,” Yami said.

She elaborated that women’s security nonetheless has a lengthy way to go and her affiliation with the NGOs for the cause emanates from this very subject.

“The want to work on these issues stems from the women’s safety troubles which nonetheless exist.
