Armaan Malik, a well-known YouTuber and former Bigg Boss OTT contestant, has once again found himself at the center of controversy. The content creator, who previously faced criticism for having two wives, recently took to Instagram to share a video in which he appealed to Punjab Police for a gun license, citing threats to his life. However, the video was later deleted.
In his emotional plea, Malik expressed frustration over repeated rejections of his arms license application, stating that authorities had denied his request due to an ongoing legal case against him—one he claims is false and baseless. He emphasized his faith in the judiciary, asserting that truth would ultimately prevail, but questioned whether he and his family should continue living in fear until then.
“I am a father, a responsible citizen, and I have every right to protect myself and my children,” Malik stated in the now-deleted video. “My humble request is that I be granted an arms license so that I can at least defend myself. This is not a rebellious plea, but the appeal of a helpless yet self-respecting citizen who simply wants his family to live in safety.”
Malik further urged authorities to recognize the seriousness of his situation, highlighting the persistent threats he has received. In the caption accompanying his video, he revealed that despite maintaining faith in the law and taking all necessary legal steps—including filing complaints and submitting applications—the sense of danger still looms over him and his family.
The reason behind the deletion of the video remains unclear, but the controversy has sparked discussions about security concerns for public figures and the challenges they face in ensuring their safety.
