Abhay Deol’s Goa Haven: The Actor Who Wanted To Live Outside While Staying Inside

Abhay recently opened up about his dream home in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, and his brief to his architects is what makes the story so interesting.

He told his architects, Vishakha Dholakia Chowdhry and Muninder Singh Chowdhry:

“When I’m looking at the person in front of me, I don’t want to see the ceiling — or want any windows. With no bugs and the AC on.”

In simple words, he wanted an invisible house. A house made entirely of glass, where the outside and inside merge seamlessly. No visible ceiling cutting the view, no window frames blocking nature, but still completely protected from the Goan heat and insects.

And his architects delivered exactly that.
