Anurag Kashyap Claims Packed Schedule Until 2028, Busier Than SRK

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has dismissed rumors that he has quit filmmaking, stating that he is busier than Shah Rukh Khan and has projects lined up until 2028. Kashyap, known for his bold storytelling, recently relocated from Mumbai to another city, sparking speculation about his departure from the industry. However, he clarified that he has five directorial projects expected to release this year or early next year.

Kashyap also expressed frustration with the Bollywood industry, calling it “toxic” and criticizing its obsession with ₹500-800 crore films, which he believes has stifled creativity. He has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), particularly regarding delays in the release of the film Phule, which faced objections over its portrayal of caste issues.

Despite the controversies, Kashyap remains active in filmmaking and acting. He will soon be seen in the action-drama Dacoit, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh.
