Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner has spoken out against aggressive paparazzi behaviour, claiming that photographers often went to dangerous lengths to capture images of her and her children during her relationship with actor Ben Affleck.
Speaking on the “Shut Up Evan” podcast, Garner said the constant pursuit by paparazzi had become overwhelming and affected not only her family but also people around them. She recalled incidents where photographers allegedly followed her vehicles recklessly, drove through restricted areas and created disturbances while trying to capture photographs.
Garner said the situation became especially difficult when she was with her children, describing moments when photographers blocked access to places such as medical facilities while she was carrying a sick child. She expressed concern that children often faced the consequences of intense media attention directed at their famous parents.
The actress said the problem extended beyond her personal experience and reflected a larger issue within the entertainment industry, where excessive media pursuit could disrupt everyday life for celebrities and their families. Garner’s comments highlight ongoing concerns among public figures about privacy, safety and the impact of constant media scrutiny on children. She emphasised that while public interest in celebrities is understandable, boundaries must be maintained to protect families from unnecessary risks and pressure.
