Ishaan Khatter dances on a table as he acts as a war hero in Pippa

Ishaan Khattar has unveiled new stills from his upcoming film, Pippa. This actor will be considered as an armyman for the first time. He played the role of Captain (later Brigadier) Balram Singh Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron, who fought on the Jap front during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Directed by Raja Krishna Meno, Pippa also stars Mrinal Tagore, Soni Razdan and Priyanshu Painyuli.

Producer Roy Kapur Films shared the stills on Instagram. Although the first suggests Ishaan saluting as a Navy man on duty in uniform. The 2d photo is quite the opposite as Ishaan is at a birthday celebration, dancing on a desk with several women dancing around him. The third picture shows her dancing with other men, who are also formal.

Ishaan shared some behind-the-scenes stills from the film’s shoot. Sharing the photo, Ishaan wrote on Instagram, “Filled with gratitude for this photo trip. It was a dream to work with a super like this team. Tender and full of love. This is your captain Balram Singh Mehta signing off from #Pippa. See you soon at the cinema.” One picture shows her in conversation with the director, while another shows her mingling with several desserts at an event on the set.

The book Pippa is based on The Burning Chaffees using war veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Mrinal and Priyanshu will play Ishaan’s siblings in the film while Soni will be seen playing their mother. The first poster of the film last year showed Ishaan posed on a tank during the war.

Ishaan was next seen in the 2020 film Khali Pillai, opposite Ananya Pandey. The two are rumored to be dating. Apart from Pippa, Ishaan also has phone ghosts with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
