Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly suffered a severe knee injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming, yet-untitled project with director Kabir Khan. The injury occurred during the final days of the shoot, when several major action sequences were being filmed following weeks of intensive training with action coaches. According to reports, Aaryan was taken to Fortis Raheja Hospital for treatment and is expected to undergo knee surgery before taking a short break to recover. He is reportedly expected to resume his professional commitments after a few days of rest, including his upcoming collaboration with filmmaker Anurag Basu. The injury comes as Aaryan continues a busy phase of his career following his National Film Award-winning performance in Chandu Champion. His collaboration with Kabir Khan marks their second project together after Chandu Champion. The actor has also expanded his involvement in the industry through film production. While the injury is expected to cause a brief pause in his schedule, he is reportedly likely to return to work once his recovery progresses.
