Olive Café & Bar Kolkata is set to host renowned chef Dhruv Oberoi for an exclusive three-day culinary residency from July 17 to 19, offering diners a unique gastronomic experience that blends Mediterranean flavours with regional Indian ingredients. As the Culinary Director of Olive Qutub, The Grammar Room and The Hood, Oberoi has curated a limited-edition menu that showcases innovative techniques while celebrating local produce and traditional flavours.
The specially designed menu features a variety of signature dishes, including Kalimpong Cheese Gougère, Jute Leaf Frites, Tadgola Tartare and Ghugni Hummus. Guests can also enjoy hearty main courses such as Mahua Pilaf, Jackfruit Fricassee, Goat Pilaf and Chicken Fricassee. To complete the dining experience, the dessert selection includes Nolen Gur Crème Caramel, Aamaada Mango Tart and Gobindobhog Rice Crêpes, highlighting familiar regional ingredients with a contemporary twist.
The residency is further enhanced by a curated cocktail menu featuring creative beverages such as the Aamaada Teq-To, Betel Leaf Negroni, Kasundi Sour and Amla Martini. The event will take place at Olive Café & Bar on Shakespeare Sarani, with both lunch and dinner services available throughout the three-day residency. Tickets for the exclusive dining experience are available through Swiggy Scenes, with prices starting at Rs 2,000 plus applicable taxes for two people.
