TV actors Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma have revealed that they were victims of a financial fraud, allegedly orchestrated by someone they trusted for three years. The couple, known for their roles in Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, shared their ordeal in an emotional YouTube video, explaining that they lost their entire life savings.
Puja and Kunal described the past two to three months as the lowest phase of their lives, admitting that they were hesitant to speak about it earlier. Puja shared that the betrayal was particularly painful because the scammer had become like family to them. She stated, “Zero par laakar khada kar diya hai, par hum zero se waapis shuru karenge” (We have been brought back to zero, but we will start again from scratch).
Kunal emphasized that their livelihood depends on fans’ support, saying, “We belong to an industry where our work holds value only if people watch it. You are like family to us, and that’s why you deserve to know that we were cheated.” He also mentioned that they had not even informed their families about the fraud before making the video public.
Despite the setback, the couple remains hopeful and determined to rebuild their lives. They have asked for prayers and support, expressing faith in God to help them through this difficult time. Fans have flooded social media with messages of encouragement, urging them to stay strong and promising to stand by them.
