Bollywood actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda marked the first anniversary of their massive blockbuster film, Saiyaara, in a highly symbolic fashion by launching a collector’s edition vinyl LP at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. The choice of venue holds deep significance for fans of the movie, as the stadium served as the backdrop for a pivotal scene in the film where Panday’s character, Krish Kapoor, recognizes Padda’s character, Vaani Batra, on the stadium’s giant screen.
Directed by hitmaker Mohit Suri and produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF) by CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara emerged as a monumental box office phenomenon, grossing over ₹580 crore worldwide. The makers have officially hailed it as the highest-grossing love story in the history of Indian cinema. Celebrating this historic run, the newly unveiled collector’s edition is structured as a premium two-disc vinyl set. The first disc features all nine chart-topping tracks from the soundtrack, while the second disc encapsulates sixteen original background score compositions paired with nine memorable dialogue sequences from the movie.
The exclusive anniversary package also offers a treat for collectors, including a special Saiyaara diary with personal notes from the director, producer, and lead actors, alongside key musical contributors such as Tanishk Bagchi, Irshad Kamil, and Vishal Mishra. It further features a replica ink pen inspired by Vaani’s notebook and custom character bookmarks. Expressing his gratitude, Director Mohit Suri emphasized that the depth, innocence, and magic of Krish and Vaani’s relationship owed its timelessness to the music, thanking global audiences for embracing the album so passionately over the past year.
