বরুণ ধাওয়ানের বছরের বহুল প্রতীক্ষিত ছবি 'বেবি জন' 25 ডিসেম্বর বড়দিনে মুক্তি পেয়েছে। এই ছবির বক্স অফিস কালেকশন খুবই হতাশাজনক, কমছে ছবির আয়। এমনকি ছবির খরচও মেটানো কঠিন হয়ে পড়ছে। অভিনেতা 'বেবি জন' হল থালাপথি বিজয়ের তামিল ছবি 'থেরি'-এর হিন্দি রিমেক। এই ছবিটি পরিচালনা করেছেন অতলি কুমার। ছবিতে বরুণ ধাওয়ানের সঙ্গে মুখ্য ভূমিকায় রয়েছেন দক্ষিণী অভিনেত্রী কীর্তি সুরেশ। পাশাপাশি ছবিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকায় রয়েছেন ভামিকা গাব্বি ও রাজপাল যাদব। এই ছবির গল্পে সামাজিক সমস্যা নিয়ে মন্তব্য করা হয়েছে। এতে অ্যাকশন, রোমান্স এবং ড্রামা আছে কিন্তু এই ছবিটি দর্শকদের প্রেক্ষাগৃহে টানতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে। জানা গেছে, ছবিটির সিক্যুয়েল নির্মাণের কথাও ভাবছেন নির্মাতারা।
