Chennai Super Kings survived quite a few nervy moments on Wednesday night as they eked out an 18-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders in their IPL match. However, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that his job had in fact become “quite easy” towards the end of the game as the battle was mainly between the fast bowlers and the big hitters. Batting first, CSK posted a score of 220/3 after being asked to bat and then reduced KKR to 31/5. Andrew Russell (54) and Pat Cummins (66 not out) went on a six-hitting spree to keep KKR in the hunt before being…

With Mortal Kombat, it finally may be time for more video game adaptations.

editor0 CommentsEntertainmenthollywood, video game, world

And yet, Hollywood is increasingly viewing video games as one of the ripest, richest veins of intellectual property outside of comic books. Even as much of the film business slowed…

2018’s Wild, Wild Country introduced Osho’s life and times to an entirely new generation, but what the documentary really guaranteed was limelight for his fiery, often foul-mouthed assistant Ma Anand Sheela. With multiple documentaries on her, Netflix’s Searching for Sheela will land this Friday, and two narrative projects in the pipeline — one will star Priyanka Chopra as the controversial aide while the other has Shakun Batra working on it — it will not be wrong to say that she has truly caught the imagination of a country. editor0 CommentsEntertainmentBollywood, RADHE, salman khan

Salman Khan-starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai trailer is finally here. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film is an actioner and also features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Megha Akash in pivotal roles. Salman plays the titular role of Radhe who is a cop. This is your typical Salman film, for better or worse. He plays a larger-than-life character and mouths off bravado-laced one-liners that will, we hope,…
