Sapna Bhavnani, in a series of posts on social media, highlighted her plight when she wanted advise from Bollywood for her film. She went on to reveal how her fellow hair stylists and make dadas were treated by celebrities. “Every actor/producer/director (yes yes the cool liberals) turned their backs on me when all I wanted was advice for my film. They didn’t even acknowledge my presence and I am still known a bit. I can only imagine a new comer and the trauma of getting a helping hand. No mercy.”
Earlier, Sapna had hit out at Bollywood for not helping Sushant Singh Rajput. “It’s no secret Sushant was going through very tough times for the last few years. No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet, today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend,” she had shared.
