Shah Rukh Khan Reclaims His First Delhi Home With Gauri, Buys Entire Panchsheel Park Building For Rs 37 Cr

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has bought back the Delhi house that marked the beginning of his life with wife Gauri Khan.

In the latest property deal, SRK has now become the full owner of the residential building in South Delhi’s Panchsheel Park. He already owned the basement and the first floor. With the purchase of the second and third floors for about Rs 37 crore, the entire building is now under his name, as per a Moneycontrol report.

For SRK and Gauri, this isn’t just another real estate purchase. The Panchsheel Park house is where the couple started their married life in 1991. Before Shah Rukh left for Mumbai to chase his Bollywood dreams full-time, this was their first home together.

The property sits on a massive 1,200-square-yard plot, which is roughly 10,800 sq ft or about a quarter of an acre. Located in one of South Delhi’s most premium neighborhoods, the land value alone is estimated at nearly Rs 34,260 per square foot.

Shah Rukh and Gauri got married on October 25, 1991. That day was special in more ways than one — they had three ceremonies. A registered civil marriage, a traditional Hindu wedding, and a Nikah, all on the same day.

Over the years, Gauri has often talked about how close the Delhi house is to their hearts. In an earlier chat with iDiva, she mentioned that the home was designed in a way that holds on to all their family memories.

With this new acquisition, the King Khan has ensured that the place where his love story with Gauri began is now completely theirs again.
