Yash, Kiara Advani Film Targets ₹200 Crore Domestic Gross

A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups entered its first Saturday with a strong box-office cushion, having collected ₹165.95 crore net in India after three days. The Geetu Mohandas-directed gangster drama opened with an impressive ₹101.10 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹37.65 crore on Day 2 and ₹27.20 crore on Day 3. As Day 4 progresses, the film is aiming to strengthen its weekend performance and move closer to the ₹175 crore domestic net milestone, while the ₹200 crore domestic gross mark remains an important near-term target. The film’s massive opening has already positioned it among the year’s biggest theatrical performers, with its Day 1 India net reportedly surpassing the opening-day figure of Dhurandhar Part 1. Globally, Toxic has also crossed the ₹200 crore mark during its initial run, putting the ₹250 crore worldwide milestone within sight. However, the film’s next few days will be crucial in determining whether it can sustain its strong theatrical momentum beyond the initial release-day rush. With domestic collections witnessing a decline after the record-breaking opening and reviews remaining mixed, a strong Saturday and Sunday could play a key role in determining the film’s long-term box-office trajectory.
